Mirrored Play is an original work created by artist Dawn Whitmore with composer Ashi Day and performed by opera singers, Rachel Sitomer and Mairin Srygley. In this piece, the two sopranos face opposite directions and sing to each other through mirrors positioned on sculptural ladders within an outdoor amphitheater.

This project is inspired by and dedicated to the wildlife that inhabits Crofton Park: the foxes, barred owls, mourning doves, squirrels, dragonflies, painted turtles, sunfish, beavers, geese, raccoons, lighting bugs, and the little blue heron.

This performance is twelve minutes in duration and freely open to the general public. Appropriate for all ages.
